Alison is a highly skilled holistic artist specializing in Fine Arts with a BFA  from Columbia College Chicago. With over a decade of experience in art instruction, she has spent the last ten years focusing on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through creative expression. This dedication underscores her commitment to inclusivity in the arts.

"As a holistic artist and wellness practitioner, my work is deeply rooted in my belief that art, energy, and healing are all interconnected. Through my crystal jewelry, handmade art, and sound therapy, I help create safe spaces for people to feel accepted as they are. My hope is to help guide others in discovering their own peace and power through intentional creativity, mindful practices, and sacred rituals."

 Her creative process is deeply informed by her extensive completion of 400 hours of yoga training, as she is a licensed yoga teacher and sound practitioner. This background allows her to seamlessly integrate principles of mindfulness and holistic healing into her artistic practice.

​Alison’s fine art practice transformed into Crystalline Studios during the COVID pandemic in 2020 after her art programming job shifted to focus on responsibilities of client health and safety. She found solace in creating the jewelry pieces at the end of a challenging day and supporting her favorite local rock shops through her sourcing practices. She quickly realized she found great reward in creating something meaningful for people to keep and wear as a tailsmen to commemorate a memory of someone, a feeling they want to embody, or a reminder to stay grounded through such uncertain times. Those requests, investments, and support coincidentally helped Alison stay grounded in return during such uncertain times.

Alison has a talent for creating beautiful jewelry and mindfulness items, driven by her strong belief in the interconnectedness of art, energy, and healing. Moreover, Alison recognizes ethical sourcing in her materials, understanding that this not only enhances her work but also reinforces the vital connection to contribute to our communities.
